Reem Marstani started her career as a clinical pharmacist, and now has over 10 years’ experience in the NHS, working in the Intensive Care Unit and Trauma departments at the local general hospital. This has given her invaluable skills in managing emergency scenarios and complications. She has now progressed her career further and is working as an advanced practitioner running clinics in a GP surgery.
Her aim as a healthcare professional is to create a patient-focused environment, acting as a patient advocate, demonstrating commitment to addressing health inequalities and patient empowerment, and providing a high standard of service which is accessible and affordable to everyone.
